This is a hotly discussed topic lately. What do you think the role of social media was in the revolutions? Was it necessary for the success in places like Tunisia and Egypt? With the advent of the internet, can governments control their people anymore? In Egypt, the government tried to control internet usage (blocking it altogether), but there were quickly ways found to get around it, as there always will be.
