Also, I've been told that male nipple piercings are really painful. Apparently, instead of piercing the actual nipple, they have to go behind it in men. Mine hurt less than a cartilage piercing in my ear, but I'm a woman...

I always thought that if you want to get a piercing you should have some idea of what you want to get...

But maybe I'm just old fashioned like that?

A lot of piercings look trashy (eyebrow, lip, tongue, etc) others are really played out (septum). I'm apprenticing for piercing, and I don't even have any of them anymore, and all I ever had was my septum.

I'm with cmoney on this one. I used to have earrings, one in each ear, of a normal gauge and I used to get asked quite frequently why I didn't get them stretched. My usual reply was that that kind of shit was trendy nonsense and that was 10 years ago, lulz...

Yeah I am literally asked, every single day, why I don't have stretched lobes, mostly because I have a lot of tattoos and am in the hardcore scene, where that is pretty common. And at one time I wanted it, but now I doubt I will.
