Oh please let it work (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/02/wisconsin-democrats-recall-effort_n_830395.html). Can you imagen for the first time in a long time, the republicans being forced by the people to run for the hills?

There is no difference between Reublican and Democrat, Gacky. Both serve the same corporate interests and people are herded to support one or the other like cattle. The people demonstrating an calling for recall clearly are being manipulated by the bourgeo....

Sorry I could not resist.

I very much hope the recall effort gains momentum, though I have little knowledge on the intracacies of WI state laws. The article said the senators in question have a year in office before they can be recalled, meaning those being targeted are ineligible for recall until november. That said, I very much hope this continues to gain steam and signals a reversal against the overall rightist agenda.

Are they going to attempt a recall of Walker himself as well?

The unions have called for it for some time now, however from their message it appears the state democrats aren't supporting that initiative right now. Quite possibly hedging their bets, seeing if this recall has great support. If it does, I think there can be little doubt that the dems will hop on the backs of the workers and try to take walker down.

So...can someone explain this recall stuff to me?

does this mean you can somehow reelect these seats? What does it mean?

I don't think the Dems will support it. If they can recall a Republican--they can recall a Democrat. And the business here is called riding the gravy train.

It matter what each state laws says. Normally, the people will vote yes or no to see if the person will remain in office. If the person gets recalled. There will be new elections to replace the recalled person.

The most famous example of a recall in US politics as of late was that of Gov Grey Davis, who was recalled and replaced by Arnold Shwazenegar

You mean recalling the state senators or Walker? Because they ARE supporting recalling the state senators, which is just a move to stop the bill.
