Today's class was extremely infantile. What kind of second-year university class needs to be taught how to use Google Books? Mine, apparently. Next week they're going to give us a goddamn tour of the library. Just in case there are some students of lesser mental faculties who have managed to get this far without doing any form of research.
The teacher is a cute blonde, though, around 25 I guess. I think I will keep attending.

Hahaha Are you sure you didn't fall asleep and wake up in an American university?

You just described every Dutch woman I've ever met.

Sounds like my English class. She has to teach us how to write a paper. It isn't like we haven't been writing papers our entire life. I thought college would be different from high school. xP

Funny, because I actually study English. It's not rocket science, but this is a bit much. Maybe in 2 weeks, they can teach us dictionary definitions of "scholarship", "research", "academia", "university", etc.
Learning how to write a proper essay is what we did for most of the first year, so now we're learning how to write bigger essays (2,500 words, holy shit dudes, what am I ever going to do? I've never written so many words before! ); and that's why we need a library instruction.
Luckily, the other courses are pretty cool.
