Oh my god, I can't believe he died. I knew he was going to die soon but..that's suprising..sorta.
I just got a poster of Johnny two days ago.

johnny Cash is probably the first music i ever heard. I practically grew up on it, thanks to my guitar-playing old man.

I couldn't stop hearing about it. The Seattle radio talked about it nonstop this morning.
It sucks, though. After the death of his wife, he kind of lost his will to live. :(

The music world lost a legend today. I love "Man in Black" and "One Piece at a Time."

Well, I left Kentucky back in '49

But she opened the door and said "Honey, take me for a spin."
So we drove up town just to get the tags

I could hear everybody laughin' for blocks around
But up there at the court house they didn't laugh

My friend woke me up at five o'clock this morning to inform me of this news. I did cry.
I've been listening to Johnny Cash since I was two. His life is the epitome of tragedy and the ability to conquer these tragedies.
R.I.P. Johnny, the music scene sucks without you.

Yup. I wore all black today, and I'm planning on wearing all black tomorrow. And for the next week. Because Johnny Cash was just that damn cool. When I heard the news, I played "Ring of Fire" very loudly, and the people in the houses surrounding mine came out of their houses and we had an impromptu Cash-fest in memory of the original bad ass. I've been listening to Cash all my life, and I will continue to do so. This week SUCKED. Warren Zevon AND Johnny Cash...damn.
