Jerry Brown is going to start coming after workers, the poor, elderly and students in California big time. I think the Bay Area will be an interesting place to be in over the coming months since it has a multi billion dollar 'deficit'. I'm going to be out there and vocal not only against Jerry Brown but democrats in general and specifically Obama. These coming cuts will be a great opportunity for us to drive a wedge between workers and Democrats/Republicans and or the Democrat/Republican illusion of democracy in general. I don't see a socialist revolution taking place at all but a small step towards it will be driving a wedge between the accepted ideological paradigm. I've seen posters on here post concerning opposing Tea Party idiots at recent union events but the actual enemy...the real threat to workers isnt some idiot fringe Tea Party population it's the continued acceptance of the false idea. We need to take this opportunity to push the political paradigm further to the left so when the next crisis hits the democrats/republicans will be off of the peoples minds and socialism will be on the peoples minds.

And it's all coming from the Obama administration:

The West Coast is definitely heating up! The actions in Seattle recently have been pretty exciting.

There should be a thread on Obama showing the states how to cut billions from Medicare. They should cut his families healthcare. These cuts don't even include the hundreds of billions cut from Medicare via this new healthcare law. This is fucked up. Big time.

"Oh don't worry, in a couple years those poor hopeless bastards will have to buy health insurance"......."ObamaCare to the rescue!"

I can't afford to buy healthcare or else I'd have healthcare. I won't even be able to afford the fine. When this law fully kicks in we should organize non compliance campaigns across the country. I wonder if the black community, workers, minorities of all stripes and poor people like me will still be enamored with Obama by then?

I said in January I think that we should have a May Day this year that was epic and it seemed like something like that could never happen this year. But after recent events I think we could make it awesome this year. I mean things are going to be messed up for everybody, I even have my conservative fundamentalist sister complaining to me about the cuts and how it's just going to screw the workers and students which must mean a lot of people are heated here.

let's give em hell. Fuck these capitalist pieces of shit. Im tired of seeing these republicans and 'democrats' taking all the money from workers. Taking away our worker's rights and not giving a shit about the families who can't afford to feed themselves. While they sit up in the highchairs eating like kings!

I would love to if I could get a rally of more than 2 people in this shit islamaphobic town. No one around here cares because instead of blaming the real bastards, they blame fake 'terrorists' and 'mexicans'(quotations because they think anyone who speaks a different language and looks a bit brown is mexican) for taking there jobs.

Louisiana will be the last to do fucking anything for workers.

I'll be there on the 19'th cuz it's a Saturday and I'm a hop skip away from SF. Sacramento is about 2 hours away. An hour and a half maybe. May Day is going to be wild in SF.

there is a growing number of sacramento Rev Left area users. maybe i should host a big sacto lefty get together

anyways, yeah its understandable not being able to make it on the 14th. its only gonna be 2-5 thousand.

March 19th will probably be beyond 10 thousand, easy. (never been to an anti-war demo like this so maybe i am underestimating.)

May 1st, beyond near 100k.
