hi, this is just me doing the obligitory intro thread but im not very good at this. To some up my political opinions: I am an anarcho-communist although I'd rather persue this goal through social democracy the revolution, that said if circumstances are dire I'm flexible;). ultimately my highest Ideal is freedom both from acitve oppresion and cohersion from a 'goverment' unrepresnrtitive of its citizens and a economic system that consentrates power and manipulates beheviour. On nonpolitical fronts I'm an atheist, a transhumanist and a general suporter of all scientific endevour.
feel free to ask questions!

Welcome to the forums.
Just a warning though, most of us are not very fond of Social Democracy and reformism.

In fact, it gets you restricted. Are you a revolutionary leftist?

Don't restrict the poor guy for lack of knowledge, besides he called himself an anarcho-communist. There's nothing wrong with having a bit of 'democracy' inside of you.
Oh and welcome to the forum!

Don't worry to much about these guys when they give you crap. Just try and learn. Take it easy, don't fret if a bunch of them get all hot and bothered about something you post. Try to see past the emotion and read the message. Even hotheads can teach you a thing or two.
Heck that's been my biggest issue. Developing a thick skin and not letting comments on the interbutts get to me.
Good luck dude and welcome!:hammersickle::che::hammersickle:

Welcome. Don't worry about whether you are revolutionary enough. A lot of people here are not as revolutionary as they think.

revelutionary when I have to be is probobly the best way of putting it. I dont think there can be/should be a revolution until some changes have been made from within the existing system to make for a easier transition. switzerlands democratic systems for example are a step forward for example (partial direct democracy). As I said in my first post those veiws may change if the situation degenerates further and democratic movments become less viable. All said and done though it seems technological advances make communism inevitable as 3d printing and various nanotechnologys advance we may well be coming increacingly close to post scarcity socity especialy if we can make it off this mudball of a planet. That of cource ignores the risk of technologys being suppresed but it only takes one leak in that situation to break the spell.
