I'm looking for the documentary: L'Chayim, Comrade Stalin! The documentary tells you the story about the Jewish autonomous region in Russia. The producers are interviewing the last population of the jewish autnomous region.
Did anyone of you see this documentary? And where can I find this documentary. It is hard to find it en follow it because they are speaking Russian and Yiddish.

While searching for this film, I discovered that Robert Duvall once played Stalin in a film called, appropriately enough, "Stalin". Weird.

There's a couple of links here from the town of Birobidzhan mentioned in the film that's the centre of the Jewish Oblast.The second link is interesting for the early photos.

While searching for this film, I discovered that Robert Duvall once played Stalin in a film called, appropriately enough, "Stalin". Weird.That's all right; you haven't lived till you see Richard Burton as Trotsky.
