I want to organize a demonstration at my university for the Libyan people and the Wisconsin workers. I was thinking that asking for donations to send some type of aid to both would be a good show of solidarity, but I don't know where I'd send the aid or what I should send. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know how the aid would work but just having a solidarity rally with pictures taken and maybe some really good speakers if you know of anyone can make a huge impact. If you'd like a bit of help with this, I can.

I think that would be good as well, I just don't know how many people would show. This is a rather conservative university (we also neighbor a major army base.) But if you could help me out with a rally with good speakers, I'd appreciate it greatly. I'm with the Socialist Party of Kansas, so we might have a good speaker, but I'm really new to the party so I'm not sure.
