STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Sweden's Foreign Minister Anna Lindh died after prolonged surgery Thursday after being stabbed by an unidentified man in a Stockholm department store Wednesday, Prime Minister Goran Persson said.

A leading campaigner for Sweden to join the euro zone in a referendum Sunday, and tipped as a future prime minister, she was stabbed in the chest, stomach and arms while shopping.

I admire someone who can still wipe their own ass even after getting elected. Poor woman. I bet the guy will be out in 5 year knowing the European justice system

Don't dear saying anything wrong about the european justice system. It is the finest on earth. At least its better than the US' "justice" system. How could you possibly find any moral in killing people who have killed people. Thats like teaching a child not to run with scissors while you are running with scissors yourself. Besides, for homicide, you would probably get from 15 to 21 years here in Norway.

And by the way, don't you mean the scandinavian justice system? I mean, theres some pretty bad prisons around in europe...

20 years for murder is not a bad deal. If I ever want to kill someone I'll head for Norway.
