Ok.. there are some things I just don't get and would love to hear from all of you.
Would you actually protest - just to protest?
What I mean, if there is an organization that is clearly against your ideology and they organize protests and start to lure working people to join, would you join as well?
If's let's say nationalistic or capitalist/liberal in nature?

I am honestly shocked by some of my friends who claim to be socialist to say - hell yeah ! :(
Wtf? Isn't this in fact letting yourself become someone's puppet?

If there is for instance a protest to make state accept more foreign investments - why in the world should I encourage that shit?
I think some people are simply pissed and angry and are willing to join all kinds of crap just to let the steam out.
This is dangerous, many good progressives can easily fall victim like this.

I don't think that anyone I know would do that - otherwise we'd all be marching with the EDL or something! There's no point in protesting/demonstrating if you don't believe in the cause.

If people protest just to protest, even with groups that are clearly against their own ideology and consciousness, then they have a very unfulfilled life.

But then again, I doubt anyone does it.

There are signs I would not carry, banners I would not wave, even if I were paid to.

I've been to some liberal/reformist demos, but the only time I've ever been to a right wing rally was as an angry mob of counter-demonstrators.

Was at the one nation working together bs last year. There were some Trots and stuff there. It sucked all around and I don't plan to repeat the experience.
