I love how poorly some of these ads are targeted.

I think it's funny that Revleft is funded by money from adds that are so poorly wasted on the worst possible audience.

The targeting of a lot of ads is a little off these days.

I play EVE online so of course I get absolutely bombarded with ads for EVE that go totally to waste because I'm already playing the game.

Amazon is fucking devious though. I did a search for a hammock about a week ago (yay Retiarius!) and I got an email yesterday showing all the wonderful deals they had on hammocks this week!

Overstock is similar, browse a few things on the site and suddenly banner ads begin popping up with the exact same kind of merchandise you were looking at on Overstock....

The best ad placement I've ever seen was on Hulu. I was watching a documentary about binge drinking and the ONLY ads that showed up during commercials were booze ads. 12 ads for 1.5 hours of viewing time and fucking ALL of them were for alcohol. I about died I was laughing so hard.

I mostly just get ads for buffets on revleft. Not sure why, though, since I'm not sure how buffets are remotely related to politics. There are some funny ones sometimes though.

I used to get a lot of politically themed ads, but now I get:

-"Booyah" Food Deals
-Manicures and Pedicures (wtf?)
-And what ever the hell this is:

Is the computer-robot assaulting her? I'm so confused :crying:

I use Revleft Neutral style so I don't get ads.

I don't get ads because I use adblock.
I don't even get ads on youtube and facebook. :D

it depends on where you live and generally your browsing history

For some reason I got a site advertising women's clothes with sayings like, "I *heart/love* my soldier", etc. LOL
