Bin ali quickly left, he was an old man and his strategy of compromising only made things worst for him, he decided to leave instead of putting more blood on his name

Mubarak was at first firm, then insidious, then he started to compromise, and the general pressure had him removed by the military.

So far kadafi seem to behave in a verry strange way, learning from egypt he set up his own group of supporter and at the same time started massive crack down on protester. His propaganda machine is trying to demonize the protester, and in some region things appear to be out of control, state tv station captured (bbc news feed) police station burned down.

barhain leader reaction seem to be just plain ruthless and brutal, the army is litteraly shooting live amunition in the crowd, score of dead and wounded rushing the hospitals.

and its a small country, not much would be needed for a full blown takeover.

using sheer brutality like bahrain is gonna backfire, i am not sure that all the military officiers and commanders there really want to look like a bunch of murderous butcher.

hoo well, maybe they dont care.
