I am obviously aware this is a sensitive issue, so apologies if this is offensive to anyone, but I want to ask peoples opinion of a 3 state solution. Not in the 'conventional' sense of Egypt occupying the Gaza strip, and Jordan the West Bank and East Jerusalem, but of creating a new state, possibly in Gaza, as a refuge for Arabs and Jews who want to live in peace, possibly with the protection (initially) of NATO or the UN, but ultimately looking to create a Government and peacekeeping force of jews and arabs, supported by aid. Anyone who breaches the laws of the region would be expelled to either Israel or Palestinian territory, where they can fight to their hearts content.

I have a proposal for a flag, comprising both the flags of Israel (minus religious symbology) and Palestine, although this may be controversial as it is a reminder of the conflict and adversity.

well...

Seeing as Gaza belongs to the Palestinians...you know...the token strip of their own land they are actually allowed to live in, but not govern themselves (heavens forbid)....I do not support anything that does not involve the entire area of Palestine before 1948
