No one stands up for Anti-Germans :crying:

By the sound of that, it was written by a raging and confused MaKss Damage fan, utilizing the classical Stalinist "IT ISN'T TRUE"-approach to ignore any inconveniences coming their way.

I don't see why it should be a fake. MaKss Damage's website is temporarily down. How he looks is long known, and that's certainly him.

Not much a loss, but I feel sorry for all the Anti-Imp Stalinoids :P

Just because he opposed one kind of social chauvinism doesn't mean he can't be another kind of chauvinist. Whatever.

Just because a Stalinist critic of the Anti-Germans ends up becoming a Nazi, in no way invalidates the many criticisms of the Anti-Germans nor does it make the Anti-Germans any less reactionary.

well, to be fair, it is getting a bit remarkable that several notable (german) authoritarian anti-imperialists end up crossing the gap into nazism (horst mahler to name just the most prominent). While i agree that the hardcore anti-g's are reactionary their claim that the gap between "authoritarian anti-imperialist nationalist anti-zionist socialists" and "authoritarian anti-imperialist nationalist anti-semite national-socialists" are just semantics holds sometimes water.

Watched the whole interview (I have no life :-/) and found it interesting how much he talks about being let down by others.

He talks a bit about how stupid Anti-Germans are and that they have little in common with old leftists (has been his view for quite some time). He has somewhat of a fetish for militaristic shit and being willing to make a sacrifice (again, nothing new here).

He also claims that contrary to leftist theories immigrants aren't that poor and that their problems result from them lacking the will to let go of their "partially medieval beliefs of moral and honour" (what I found odd is that the video is cut in a way that this statement is just a couple of seconds apart from his claim that leftists are cowards because they aren't willing enough to get physical and punch Nazis in the face 24/7, and that this shows they have no honour).

He talks a lot about getting disillusioned by intrigues, by older people orchestrating what you have to do, how they tell you something in private and then they talk with someone else in private and say something else, how they herd you into a bus for a demonstration that is just a ritual and then you sit on the bus and nobody talks to you, and how it was like that in every leftist group he has seen in 6 years.

He talks about his first demo with the ultraright and how warm and friendly they have been to him.

See what can happen when a not very bright person who wants to have friends has contact with the left scene mostly in the form of control-freak grandpas and insufferable trendy wankers?

To be honest, part of his critique certainly is right:

>The German left does talk way too fucking much and barely actually acts out what they talk about

>The German left is lacking solidarity a lot, and large parts of it are completely closed down and hostile to outsiders, if you're new in the scene you're pretty much fucked

>Ritualized demos are boring as fuck

Thats true, but again not just because the Anti-Germans see it that way.

The Anti-Germans view fascism/national socialism as a purely German phenomenon and not as a phenomenon that can occur in any capitalist country with the right material conditions for fascism/national socialism.

No they don't. There are tons of threads around the forum which deal with what Anti-German believe or don't and where they started off from, I suggest you read through some of them. The first mistake you make is assuming that all Anti-Germans are the same.

This was true in the early years when the Anti-Germans developed out of the autonomist and council communist movements and there was a certain degree of diversity of opinion. But the main current now amongst the Anti-Germans are the reactionary twats from the Bahamas group, who simply cherry pick which nationalism (US and Israeli) is good and which nationalism (German) is bad and hold puerile rallies for Arthur 'Bomber' Harris.

This is incorrect. The Bahamas were always a small minority, although they certainly did have some talent to appear in every controversy. Thea have over time renounced both Leftism in general and Anti-German currents in particular.
