I must admit that I enjoy Moore quite a bit. I am excited to know he has another book on the way. I have bought his two previous works and this one looks great already.

I havent read his books, but i did glance over a few pages in the bookstore...and it seemed good. But i am the proud owner of bowling for columbine....I love this movie, its funny, its truthful, and it makes you think about gun safety....I own guns and Mr. Moore has really made me look at the world a differnt way. I live in Michigan, so all the things he did and spoke about i had previously heard about through god knows what, but he is the worlds greatest propagandist.....He's got some skills

I thought some areas of SWm were good, definately dissapointed with his chapter on the Irish problem though.
He comes across as quite pretensious in Bowling, dont get me wrong , i like some parts of the movie but you wonder in some parts how much he really believes and how much he does to make himself look good. Like that Wal-Mart thing and the interview with Heston.

Michael Moore thinks he's funny, but he's not!
The senile old man is a complete prick. I think he deserved to be humiliated like he was.

I like Michael Moore, so I will be most interested to read his latest book. Sure, it's not always deeply profound but it is entertaining, which allows his message to go across to more people than it would otherwise. I agree the so called "solutions" weren't that well thought out but I found out more than I expected about American politics reading the book.
Though if Charlton Heston is senile, what was he doing leading such a large organization as the NRA ?

I think Michael Moore is the best thing since sliced bread. Roger and Me is his best bit of work.

I think that Moore is fantastic... what the hell is so great about sliced bread, anyway? Just kidding...
I have been going around telling all the lefties I know about Moore's new book. This book is not being promoted worth a shit. When truthaddict11 started this thread, it was the first I had heard of it. I told one guy today and I totally shocked him, and he WORKS IN A BOOKSTORE! Is anyone hearing any buzz about this book? I am on Moore's mailing list, and he has never bothered to mention it.

If Moore himself isn't talking much about it, I'd imagine he's not finished yet.

Nebraska, I thought you were referring to Stupid White Men.
The new I haven't heard much about yet. You working in a bookstore and you aren't getting a head's up on it??? That is strange....I used to work for a major "book retailer" and they got stuff on books b4 the author would put finger to keyboard.
I'm in Toronto btw. :)
