Here's the deal. I'm making this post because there are certain members of the forum who are not pleased with the idea that some members of che-lives don't know about the "Commie Club." Hopefully having this thread right here in the lounge will get the "word out", so to speak.

There's an *invisible* private forum here at Che-Lives that's for the most committed left-wing members of the board.

Membership and entry to the Commie Club is open to any leftist members at che-lives that have shown to be genuine in their leftism and have been here for a relatively decent amount of time. That allows us to get to know you a little bit, and believe that you are a genuinely committed member of Che-Lives.

Generally, you must have atleast 50-100 posts before you may request access.

Access can be requested by simply sending a message to an administrator of Che-lives. There is a link on the main messageboard page that displays a list of the administrators and moderators of Che-lives.

There is also a thread in the Chit Chat forum where you can make a post to request your entry. However, I feel that sending a PM would be more of a guarantee that your request will be seen sooner and acted upon sooner by an administrator.

hmmm, maybe there should be another thread in the CC where we can put members names in the thread, kind of like a waiting list of those who request access but an admin hasn't given the access yet.

I would also like to let all of you here with no Commie Club access know that if you are a leftist, you have more than 50 posts, and you have been a member of che-lives for at least four weeks, then you may be given membership in the Commie Club depending on how you manage to appease the admins. It is an administrative forum where you can oversee as well as take part in discussions decisions having to do with the administration of che-lives.

Victor, you are in NO POSITION to set those guidelines. I don't know why you've made them up.

First of all, it used to be 52 posts, when a person became a Guerrillero/a. and the "4 weeks" thing, you made up. And I'm sick if you trying to inforce your own set of rules. Nothing here is up to you, nothing will be up to you.

If you have 50 posts and 4 weeks of membership, you ARE NOT guaranteed entrance, you can request but it doesn't mean that you're going to get in immediately, that's something that victor doesn't seem to understand, and I have no clue whynot. :blink:

by the way victor, you have a link to the commie club in your signature for the regular members to click on. You obviously haven't thought that through because REGULAR MEMBERS CAN NOT VIEW THE COMMIE CLUB, whether they have a link provided or not, they aren't authorized to view it, end of story. Many of us are pissed off with what you're trying to do, and especially your sig. I'd say that you're walking a thin line in my opinion.

Well, felicia, in the old che-lives, under faq, it said that the only requirements for CC membership were having 50 posts and memebrship for 4 weeks, i did not make that up. And obviously you had to be a socialist. Things seem to have changed, because now people are actualy rejecting CC membership to some people on the basis that they are not very well spoken and that they lack complete understanding of communism.

I don't like this, but I'll just have to live with it, I guess. I suppose entitled was a rather poor choice of words, eh?

I would like to add that only admins can grant acess to the CC, not moderators. Very few members are being rejected to join, only right-wingers and/or harcore Stalinists are not allowed.

This thread isn't here to talk about your issues with the CC. It's here to let newbies know that it exists and it's possible for them to apply to get in.

Enough with this arguement, like Scotty said, the same fight is going on in two other places.

If someone made some 400-600 posts on this site, obviously he can&#39;t be to bad, since Senator Felicia MaCarthy didn&#39;t get them banned. If you want to give the Communist a curb to get in, like only 400 posts, while other ideologies 600 or 750, fine with me. But why just shut us out because of the way we believe in? Open the doors to all&#33;

(P.S. I recommend the staff make thier own Arguement Boards for petty arguements like this. You can structure it with Mission Statements to guide the work of the staff (to be voted on similar to a living constitution), organize individual broad categories for actions taken on on a Ad Hoc or just feel like it basis (people like to lead, or join clicks with thier own powers, similar to gangs. This doesn&#39;t have to kill the focus of a organization&#33; There is more to just Arragating and Delegating Authority&#33;)

Just so long as the organization is focused on serving the customer (us) and improvement of the site in line with the mission statements, you can have a diversity of ideas being implimented rapidly from individual initiative with mininum friction from other powergroups within the system. I had to swallow a lot of pride, but I encouraged my staff to move ahead with a lot of dumb stuff, offer tips and guidance if I saw them steering the wrong course. With professionals who know each other inside out, you usually don&#39;t even need a leader, the system would be guidance enough (though in emergencies have a leader per-selected- NOT THE OWNER unless it&#39;s based on predetermined rotation, like with the Kings of Malaysia.)

Argueing in public is stupid unless your trying to get the public involve. Don&#39;t act out or Discipline your people in front of others, your going to regret it&#33;

things were different a year ago. Malte took a bit of a break, when he came back he assigned moderators to help run the site. Now there are a few more administrators and it&#39;s easier to get "in contact" with one.
