A very interesting article...

Arnold would rather be seen as indecisive than reveal how reactionary he can be. How hypocritical for an immigrant millionaire to support motions that deny education and health care to immigrants in California! This author is much harsher on Democrat Bustamante and Independant Arianna Huffington as well. Ms. Huffington may be up to challenge Arnold for the crown of hypocrisy--her latest books have been dealing with corporate welfare and how unfair it is. According to the article, she owns a multi-million dollar mansion and has not paid much, if any, tax recently! Green candidate Camejo looks good here, as he usually does. I read in another article Camejo used to be affiliated with a socialist party and had run for governor once or twice on their ticket.

There seem to be a lot of Green candidates with socialist ties, if not just de facto socialists (Ralph Nader comes to mind). All though, Mother Jones does have a tendency to be rather Green leaning. They're very nearly an environmentalist advocacy magazine.

Anyhow, the most striking thing about Arnold was the line which described him as "a longtime board member of U.S. English, a national organization with notorious ties to men in white hoods." Doesn't surprise me really. Most of the German speaking people I've met are extremists one way or another, be they left or right.
