Can any of you point me towards some theologians or books advocating a modern islam? I need some sources for a paper I am writing, but my internet searches aren't yielding much. I am looking for theologians or authors claiming that Islam and the west are compatible and that Islam should adapt to different cultures, etc. Thanks in advance for any help on this topic!
