If Julian Assange is assasinated by the american government what action should we take ? After all, if a man is murdered for exposing the truth then we must take some action.

fucking penguins...i knew they had something brewing...

But in all honesty, why would it be up to us, and only us? there are some major governments who support Julian (see Russia and Norway), and for him to be assassinated, everyone would know who to blame. not to mention the shit storm to follow.

With a person like Julian Assange, I'm sure that the US government would have him killed, or permanently silenced in some non-lethal manner. He doesn't seem like the person to just lay down and zip his lips for good. Wikileaks should live on to spread the the truth that the government seeks so hard to conceal.

I would say riots would be the effect of his assassination or even hushing.

Some people in anonymous claim they're in possession of the stuxnet virus, and I would not be surprised if they were to use it in the wake of Assange's death, if he were assassinated/executed. I would also imagine some of the particularly damning documents WikiLeaks claim to have would be released.

I don't know, wouldn't killing him be a bit too obvious and prone to get negative backlash? It seem to some they'd rather isolate and dirty Assange's image and wikileaks by extension, which frankly has been working to some extent.

Wasn't it obvious with Mlk or Malcolm x? Or Che Guevara?

Sadly, it will go on for years with the majority of Americans not caring and forgetting about Julian.

I don't equate Assange with Dr. King, Malcolm X, or Che. Not every one has to go down in a hail of bullets. Frankly I don't see Assange as the same person and the strategy so far has been working. How much has come out regarding Assange and his rape charges, his "dictatorial" hold over wikileaks operations, former friends speaking out about him, and public opinion turned against him for the most part.

With that and him having the possibility of rendered irrelevant, he's already on his way.
