Hello, I'm ttomthebomb or Tom (w/e), I've strongly believed in communism since I learned how useful it was about 5 years ago.
I love to talk about politics so yeah, see you around!

I look forward to hearing more from you, regarding your political stances. What particular vein of Communism do you adhere to? What's the situation like in New York (socially, financially, etc.). Is there much of socialist/communist movement there?

Well, Marxism would be the main thing here. I do also like how Leninism worked out. Up here we're financially lacking like most of the country is, increased taxes and what not. I used to go to a youth class a couple years back that was run by the CPUSA, that's where it started. I don't know if it's still around but it was a great place to learn.

The CPUSA is made up mostly of Democratic Party left-apoligists. There should be other groups in NY that do public meetings and day schools. I know the ISO has a district in NY with tons of members and public day schools.

I too would recommend looking beyond the CPUSA, but welcome to the forum regardless.

There's a really good PSL branch in Harlem that has socialism classes, and they're not reformists like the CPUSA. I actually went to my first meeting there recently. PM me if you want some contact info.
