I'm in the middle of my third real exploration of the left and this site. I think my favorite thing about this site is that one gets to see left thought as expressed by actual people, and not solely in difficult-to-understand texts, &c., which is beyond helpful to the person just starting out, without firm footing in theory and very afraid of saying 'the wrong thing'.

But this is my first time registering--I hope of course to be able to begin learning more actively and all that good stuff. If I can overcome my shyness about posting and the mere act of putting one's ideas out into the world, then, well, I'll be good to go. :thumbup1:

My way of looking at things right now is well-summarized in my signature, but also I like to articulate it as, rather than a subscription to a particular theory or even, per se, as a broad opposition to capitalism, the mere desire to challenge the prevailing "well, like it or not, the world is x, and because of that we have to place all thought within the range a--b, &c".

As I said I am a little hesitant to pipe up when I feel I have something to say (I guess this is what comes with being the INFP stereotype) but I am glad to finally be registered and all that, so: Hello!

Welcome!

I'm sure you'll get the chance to absorb a lot here. Be sure to ask even the most basic questions in Learning. You'll get some good and bad responses from nearly every little fringe group here - so don't worry too much about posting.

Welcome, I am from Vermont, which I don't consider part of the US or New England, but many do. Feel free to pipe up if you have something to say, thats the POINT!

I also recommended the IRC chat believe it or not- if there's a big current event going on it will let you chat in real time with others about it which usually leads to quick answers, links to reading material on it (articles), videos etc..

I had fun the other night with the people on there.
