No offense intended to Christian posters here, particularly Evangelicals, but I was thinking of some lyrics on rural gratitude to perceived "benevolent" leaders.

Here's one based on "Give Thanks" by Henry Smith:

Give thanks to our Cae-sar,
Give thanks to the Strong-man,
Give thanks because he's given
Us his Goons (http://www.revleft.com/vb/showpost.php?p=1937619&postcount=27) and Thugs (http://www.revleft.com/vb/showpost.php?p=1941289&postcount=59).

And now let us point his Goons and Thugs
To repress the bour-geois-ie (http://www.revleft.com/vb/album.php?albumid=845&pictureid=7102)
And lib'rals too (http://www.revleft.com/vb/album.php?albumid=845&pictureid=7103)
And petit com-pradors.

And now let the voiceless speak their voice,
Be the masses em-powered (http://www.revleft.com/vb/album.php?albumid=845&pictureid=7106),
Because of what
Our Cae-sar's done for us!

Give thanks!

I'm not trying to derail this thread, but I thought it'd be a good place to share my short parody. Cue funky music...

The revolution will not be tweeted. It will not come as an update on your facebook status. The revolution will not be brought to you by AT&T, Verizon, Tmobile, or Cricket, via iPhone, through msm. You will not receive daily email updates of uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt or Yemen because the revolution will not be tweeted.

idk, it's a work in progress, maybe someone can elaborate on it. Hit me up on my wall (don't derail this thread)!

I'm sure that I speak for the many evangelical christians on revleft when I say that I'm very, very upset by this.

You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

This is a shallow analysis of the situation tbh.
