That's probably the weirdest parody of "leave Britney alone" I've seen. (Please don't try and prove me wrong though.)

Does anyone else think Engels looks like he is quietly plotting to murder them all in this picture? :scared:

rofl, i love engels in this. hes just chilling in his photo-portrait pose, i guess with different hands so it looks different/.. the whole picture is just weird though; the whole awesomeness of marx is that hes a amazing thinker/philosopher who has raised hell for all reactionaries on earth through his immortal ideas, i dont care if he gave his child a shoulder ride lolol. love how his wife is holding a book, like in many chinese posters. i guess you could say it shows the integration of emancipatory theory with family life, and the child holding a flower symbolises the future generations who will rise up thanks to marx.

Engels is thinking, "Mein Gott...I have to pay for this all". The formalistic style made me think at first it was from the DPRK

Is that Laura on Karl's shoulder?

Is that Laura on Karl's shoulder?
According to the site it is. It has Karl Marx, wife Jenny Marx-Von Westphalen, daughter Laura, and Friedrich Engels. It was released during the early implementation of the one-child policy.
Engels is clearly not happy to have one child like Marx has. sadface

Actually, I think Engles purposely put himself there for a camera trick, making it seem like Marx's wife is actually reaching for something a bit more meaty.

or perhaps that is in fact what happened, and engels was just an exceptionally small man. this way marx wouldnt notice their affair even when confronted with a photograph of it, giving engels a sense of superiority. he was a clever man, despite his size
