This guy is worse than Batista, Somoza, Trujillo, Duvalier, Pinochet, Suharoto, Marcos and Mobutu put together. And Obama has been supporting this tyrant? I can't wait to see Mubarak executed.

I think worse than Suharto is a stretch. As far as I know, Mubarak's government is not guilty of ethnic cleansing and has not directly massacred millions of people (though ten of thousands have been tortured and killed and millions are living in dire poverty). I'd definitely say he's at least as bad as Pinochet, Duvalier, or Ceaucescu though.

One thing I've been pointing out to people is that Mubarak's made $25 billion more than Egypt's received in American aid since being in power. ($70B - 1.5B * 30Y = 25B)

And this surprises you? America supported most if not all the people and regimes you have mentioned above. Egypt is no different in the eyes of America. If it holds any benefits or potential they will happily "support" the government no matter how oppressive or violent its policies are, I think this can be clearly seen with Pinochet and Suharto in particular (I'm not as sure about the others). The geographical position of Egypt means it is invaluable to US interests in the middle east and is a handy stop over for rendition flights to Guantamano Bay or other black sites.

I personally am against the death penalty and would like to see him be tried in court (although I'm not sure how effective this will be) but I would not be surprised if he got away with a slap on the wrists by the US or UN. These things unfortunately tend to happen quite often.

If it is $70 billion, that makes him the world's richest man. Carlos Slim and Bill Gates are $53.5 billion and $53 billion respectively.

Or in other words: 20-33% of Egypt's GDP. Apart from another family that owns 6% of Egypt's GDP.
Which in the worst case would make 39% of Egypt's GDP (2010) in the hands of 5 or 6 persons.

Nonetheless, politicians' fortunes are rarely analyzed...
