damn today sucked!
got on, and co-worker decides to quit. (not complaining about this)
find out, managers dont call in someone else to cover his shift.
only 3 people working in the entire store.
didnt get a break for 4.5 hours.
finally got a break, 50 minutes before my shift is supposed to end :cursing:
didnt finish my tasks.
end up getting held 20 minutes past closing:cursing:
thats 10 minutes short of me being legally required to take a lunch break(which is unpaid)
even if i got my lunch break, it would have been pointless, because it was PAST CLOSING.
no overtime pay because i would have had to have had an 8 hour shift.
to top it all off, i relapsed and picked up smoking again :crying:
FUCK.
PS: managers only schedule the MINIMUM amount of people to work in accordance with average revenue per day in the stores history. basically, that means that on weekdays, not many people work. but, theres always, and i mean always, a flood of people at the worst possible time. even black friday we were understaffed. all because it would cost an extra 8 an hour per person on.
