To my dismay I saw a Goldline add splattered across the top of revleft today. The same Goldline who owns Glenn Beck as a wholly owned subsidiary. Is revleft so strapped for cash that they'll approve advertisements from a gold selling company? A more pressing question is are communists target demographics for gold investment?
I'm disappointed in revleft.

I think the advertisements at the top of the site are random. I doubt that they were chosen by the mods or whatever.

1. We live in capitalist society.
2. In capitalist society, things cost money.
2.0 A server is a thing.
2.1 RevLeft runs on a server.
3. RevLeft costs money.
3.0 Someone has to pay the money.
3.0.0 The admins can't pay it.
3.0.1 The user donations didn't work very well.
3.1 Ads generate money.
3.1.0 Google offers ads.
4. Google chooses ads for a site based on the topic of the site (they analyze word frequencies and shit, it's complex).
4.0 RevLeft mentions Glenn Beck, Gold, Israel, Neoliberalism, Communism, etc. a lot.
4.0.1 Consequently, ads regarding these topics will be put on here by google.
4.0.1.0 Mostly capitalists advertise.
5. RevLeft is spammed with reactionary shit by capitalists / anti-communists because there's a small match in words/topics.
5.0 We get money from it.
