It seems like they are becoming just that, a decent article from the CPGB's Weekly Worker (http://www.cpgb.org.uk/worker/494/ssp.html)

I think McCombes is leading them the wrong way but I don't think they are "national capitalist".

Personally I think Tommy Sheridan is a CIA agent.
By setting up the ultra-reformist SSP a significant potential support for a real revolutionary party of the working class has been sucked up into an organisation, which hopes to acheive a socialist society, not by revolution, but through bourgeois parliamentary 'democracy'.
Impossible, when you consider that the whole state apparatus in a capitalist country, such as the bourgeois parliament, is designed specifically to uphold and strengthen the interests of the capitalist ruling class.
As I said, I think Sheridan takes his orders from Washington D.C. with his mission to ultimately destroy any semblence class solidarity throughout Britain, thus reducing the likelihood of a Socialist revolution in this country(Britain, not Scotland).
Classic divide-and-conquer tactics from the imperialists!!!
