Vastly increased exploitatoin (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-02-03/productivity-in-u-s-unexpectedly-rises-as-companies-hold-back-labor-costs.html), and Vastly increased income disparity (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/02/02/wall-street-pay_n_817373.html). Not only that but its one of the few things that will significantly decrease unemployment, and one of the few things that will actually stimulate the economy (by putting more money in wages that will be spent).

When productivity increases, AND labor costs drop, thats MAJOR increase in exploitation, usually its just one at a time, now its both at the same time, Unions need to get out of their 1980s scardycat mindset, and start fighting, trickle down does'nt work, it needs to be pulled down, the US is more and more like a bannana republic.

As for the increasead income disparity, the funny thing is that Wall Street DOES NOT PRODUCE ANYTHING, wall street has 0 productivity, all it does is manipulate markets and profit from speculation, there is no social benefit to wall street, all wall street does is move money around, not based on where they money will actually be best used, but based on projected prices, derivatives are another thing, here we have a tool that essencially destroys any rationality in markets.

Yet who gets rewarded in Capitalism, Wall Street, not the people actually producting wealth.

Waiting on the market to fix this is rediculous (because wallstreet and the ruling class ARE the market), waiting on the democrats to fix this is also a lost cause. The labor movement needs to step in big time.

Start with fighting austerity, move on to aggressive organizing and direct action, no more deal making, fight back.
