Just finished Al Franken's newest book. It's an excellent expose on the right wing talk radio and FoxNews' spin and mis-statement of facts. He goes at Bush and the boys pretty hard. Great fast read, poignant and funny.

He is quite funny. He used to write for SNL, you know?
I have only read "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot" and
"The Things I know!"

Did you ever get chance to see him do the election coverage on comedy central? It was brilliant. His state of the union undressed that year was awesome too.

I did read Rush, but didn't read Things I Know or Why not me. Definitely want to though.

He pissed Ann Coulter off, so he's cool with me.

On "Crossfire?"
I saw that shit and it was good.

Since I saw the Rajun Cajun' and Newt Gin-grinch debate in person (and I asked them both a question!), I have loved that show (only thing decent on CNN).

Except that Pussy Tucker Carlson. I could kick his ass any day...

And the one man campaign against Tucker Carlson continues. Here's what Tucker had to say:

I can't respond to this (I mean, look at Kojac for Christ's sake!)

Actually it's not Kojak, it's Lex Luthor from the Superman comic and the Cajun. But now that you mention it, I should have used Kojak, he's such a pimp:

Sorry to interrupt your Anti Tucker Carlson rally guys, but I need to comment on Al Franken.

That guy is a great comedy writer. Most of the funny old 70's sketches on Saturday Night Live were written by him. I just got done reading a book about SNL, there is tons of funny stories about him (and everyone else) staying up all night, doing coke and writting. I thought he was pretty fucking lame when he finally became a cast member in the early 90's.

But anyway, back to your discussion. I fucking hate the Ragin Cajun guy. I get physically mad when I see him. Will Ferrel whooped his ***** ass in a debate on Old School.

that was hilarious.
But seriously, James Carville is pretty cool. sorry you don't like him

SNL was so desperate in the early 90's they would have gotten Emo Phillips to be in the show. well, maybe not that desperate...

Actually, I liked SNL in the early 90's. They had Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey was doing good stuff, and a few others.

Have you ever seen the early 80's stuff ? Most people haven't. Lorne Michaels left the show for like 5 years and it just went to shit. They don't ever play those episodes because Lorne wasn't there, and they were some of the worst shit ever on TV. The only thing you'll see from then is clips of Eddie Murphy, and he was only on for 2 years.
