I'm taking the diploma program for OHS and am becomming more aware of the safety issues of different industries. What I will be responsible for is enforcing safety regulations, creating safety programs, etc. to ensure a safe workplace for all.

My position when i graduate and enter the workforce will be a management position. What I want to know, is where would that place me as a communist? Although I am management, i'm responsible for safety, so my position is beneficial to the worker and management of the company.

I see safety as a necessary managerial position as our goal is to make sure the worker AND management follows regulations to prevent accidents, injury and death.

What are your opinions on my field, its function, do you see it to be beneficial, what is its place amongst the wider revolutionary left, do you have any questions?

The things that you'll be dealing with won't go away along with capitalism.

Being a manager is no different from being a slave acting as a foreman over other slaves. Do you get a better wage, yeah, and more freedom of action, but you don't own the means of production, you're still selling your labor. You're still a slave.

I'd rather have you, or any revolutionary leftist, as a manager then some reactionary.
