I know it's corey, I knwo it's slipknot members, possibly the most gimicky band in history, but I heard their most recent LP (I have no idea how many them have) and I have to say I like it a lot, I wouldn't buy it, but I'm cheap when it comes to buying stuff i could just copy from friends, but it's still very good, and "Bother"'s pretty special when you don't have to watch the shitty vid.
Well I'm waiting for your scorn.....

SAVE YOUR MONEY! Dont buy that Stone Sour crap. If you must have it, though I dont see anyone who would (sorry) then burn it from a friend.

When Stone Sour first came out I was open minded about them. I do know that they've been around since before Slipknot (but the whole Slipknot story is very long). Anyway I gave it a listen knowing that they'd be different from Slipknot, obviously due to the fact that it was different members. Honestly, I must say I like Slipknot better. I more of a fan of the raw intensity of Slipknot, and I don't really find that in Stone Sour. It's just my opinion though, plus Slipknot is bringing out one more and then calling it quits. Well yeehah and such. PEACE

I like Stonesour, I didnt buy it though :D
But naw, I like it. Orchids and Bother are good songs. Not as good as Slipknot but meh, not a lot of those kind of bands are.

Well I think in a way they're more subtle, more thought out, than Slipknot. I like them a lot but I wouldn't bother buying anything, I'd just copy it, they're rich enough already I'm sure.

2 of the members of slipknot lived in Ames, where I live, and I have met 3 members personally as Jim Root, the bassist, is married to my best friend's cousin. I got backstage at one of their shows.

Stone Sour are about as subtle as clubbing a guinea pig. I think music is in a sick state when unoriginal vanity projects are the biggest selling artists. It's yet more proof of metal's stagnation.
Always bitter, never kind.
