I didn't put this in science because this is all speculation and not really scientific. Pretty much to summarize, John Titor is a supposedly time traveler from the year 2036. He explains different things from the future(in my opinion very vaguely) and even talks about a world war in 2016. Site is below from the a compilation of what he has said on a forum I'm guessing. Thoughts?

He said something big would happen around a few years ago...but nothing happened. If I recall, he also said that there'd be "Waco-like events" (whatever that means) of increasing severity and intensity over the past few years. That hasn't happened either (I think).
I've been aware of this crap for a while now. It's probably an elaborate joke by a physicist or something. In fact, I wouldn't doubt if this were one of those experiments where they test how someone believes utter crap if it's presented realistically.

Yeah that is kinda what I was thinking too. It has to be someone at least SOME WHAT intelligent to have elaborated this whole thing haha. It just sounds like some Nostradamus vague bull too me, but its still interesting.

Are the Olympics still being played in the future? As a result of the many conflicts, no, there were no official Olympics after 2004. However, it appears they may be revived in 2040.
Ahhh already bullcrap haha.

his coming back changed our timeline from his own so those things may have happened in his dimension but in ours a different set of circumstances played out due to butterfly effect etc

God, back in high school one of my friends was all into Titor's bullshit. I'm pretty sure in the end he realized he was a joke, but I'm never getting back all that wasted time at the lunch table talking about this crap that could've been put to better topics of conversation, such as the exact hue of my friend's nipples and the wonders of Chevrolet Tundras.

We didn't. I was demonstrating a sample of the ridiculous shit that we often talked about during lunch time.
