Do the protesters in Egypt or Tunisia have a socialist ideology or is it purely to oust the oppressors?

At the moment the people are united against Mubarak.

After that the Muslim Brotherhood (Islamists) are the largest opposition, various pro-democracy liberals come next with some socialist elements also swimming about.

The revolution does not seem to have a head at the moment which is a major problem.

Tunisia on the otherhand is different. The socialists there are much better organised and at the moment labour movements are trying to bring down the provisional government. There are clear sections there with socialist ideology. However they also have large islamist and liberal groups.

Whether or not they have socialist backing isn't the important thing. The important thing is they get rid of their current oppression and bring rights to their people.

Indeed, it isn't the most important thing.
Still, it's an interesting subject. I believe at least all the opposition parties have gathered around El Baradei?

From what I gather, he still quite pro-USA, but against US-warfare in the Middle East.
