Purchasing Absinthe

I live in the States. I bought a bottle of absinthe claiming to be legitimate, but it contained dyes. The absinthes in the States seem to claim to be legitimate, but they don't have very much thujone in them. What is a brand that is real, traditional absinthe? This is mainly directed at European users.

There are no legitimate absinthe suppliers in the United States. You can only get real absinthe from France. And it's not as cool as you think. IMO it's pretentious as hell.

its actually not just the puritan yanqs who ban absinthe. brazil does too
but its pretty easy to find the real stuff around here. contraband and so on
way expensive tho
and booze is basically the only thing i splurge on
