Hello everyone. New here, a little about myself I suppose.

I am 22 years old, recently out of college (got my B.A in History). I live in Massachusetts. I (marginally) work at a garbage department store.

Politically, I'd say I am certainly left leaning. However, coming on here has made me thing that I am maybe not so much (especially compared to some here)

I hate injustice
I hate people having power over me for no reason (I.E, career choice-cops)
I admire the EZLN. and the CNT-FAI
I care greatly about "green" issues.

However I am not really a violent person, or someone who likes the idea of it. I suppose more then anything I'd be a socialist, but not sure where on the spectrum I am. Certainly libretarian in regards to social issues.

Probably more of a libertarian socialist. I find some anarchist stuff intriguing, but not sure it really works for me (as of yet)

I'll take a look at some of the resources in "Learning" and see where my leanings lie after.

Also-are there any leftist groups specifically geared towards Gay rights? Being gay myself it is an issue I care a lot about.

There was an Anarchist Gay rights group I heard about, somewhere on the East Coast. I think Fawkes (one of the members here) mentioned it before? I just can't remember the name off hand myself.
