Is a game popular in the 19th century and pretty much the same as a few threads on here. It was one of the favourite games of Marx's daughters so I thought it would be interesting to use the same questions as they did.

While my comment wasn't very serious, saying "it's just a game" is gross. I see no reason to make distinctions between sexes when it comes to "virtues."

Yeah I know what you mean I'm just copying the questions as they are written. These questions were asked to Marx by his daughters, I thought I'd let a few people do theirs before I posted his answers as I'm finding it extremely hard not to copy them while doing my own.
For the favourite virtue in men/women questions I'm taking it as what do you find the most attractive quality in men/women?
or if you really object then don't answer them

Virtues, in this case, are to be perceived by the observer. For example, I like women who are sarcastic. This doesn't say anything about women in general because not every woman is (often) sarcastic. I just happen to like it when one does give sarcastic comments.

I agree, and you're right to point it out - the notion that some virtues are more preferable in men than women and vice versa is plain sexism. As is the notion that some virtues are masculine and some are feminine.
Also why do I care what Marx' Daughter did? Is this some sort of revolutionary blood line?
Well Eleanor Marx was a significant socialist writer and activist in her own right and "Jennychen" Marx and Laura Marx were somewhat notable activists so interest in them is understandable. (similarly Raul Castro's wife and daughter are/were significant public figures, Fidel Castro's wifes and children are not.)

Most people are more sexually attracted to people of a certain gender, and therefore will prefer different 'virtues' in them
gorillafuck
26th January 2011, 16:52
Yeah I thought it meant like what are your favorite virtues as far as a partner goes for the gender that you're sexually attracted to (unless you're bisexual, but even a lot of bisexual people prefer one over another). I might be wrong though.
