reccently really got into there music, they have some good political songs too :) right up my alley in terms of there sound too, any other Manics fans here on RevLeft?

They are one of the best bands ever. they done a gig in Havana which is cool

Well they do have some good lyrics, the line 'So if I can shoot rabbits, then I can shoot fascists' is pretty hard for anyone to ignore. :lol:

But yeah, I've only heard the more commercial of their songs, which are epic stuff though. Besides If You Tolerate This Then Your Children Will Be Next, I like You Stole The Sun From My Heart, The Everlasting, Everything Must Go, all the obvious ones, that real fans of the band (not to speak of the band itself) are probably quite tired of. I remember when these songs were made and became popular, were played on the radio etc, so they have a nostalgic value for me.

I didn't notice until recently that in the beginning and at the end of If you tolerate this, you can hear the tone of The Internationale. That's pretty cool.
