In mundane astrology, astrologers use the planetary cycles to show trends in current events.
for example, in the 1840's there was a uranus and pluto alignment that ran from the mid 40's to the early 50's. During that time we had wide revolution, Marx wrote the communist manifesto, the first communist groups were being born, thoreau wrote On Civil Disobediance and lets not forget the French revolution of 1848.

In 1930's, there was a square between the two planets as like now. but they were both in aries. We all know what happened besides the great depression, we had major dictators spouting revolution, and WW2. Stalin led the USSR and widespread unrest in all countries was present.

In the 60's, Uranus and pluto aligned again in a conjunction from 65-68. During those years were the most radical parts of the 60's. The cultural revolution, the cuban missle crisis, hippies, anti-war activists, vietnam. basically all parts of the world went through revolution.

and now as I write we are heading into yet another alignment between the two. We can already see changes within society with the UK, Tunisia, Wikileaks, Tea Party and republicans, and a rise in socialism.

what im asking is how do you feel about astrology and if you believe we may be underway of another world wide revolution?

I don't really think that astrology has much of an impact on what happens. Just because certain events coincidentally happened when planets were aligned in a certain way, it doesn't mean that alignment of planets caused those events.

it's just very coincidental that everytime weve had uranus and pluto in between 20 degrees in orb, there was a major revolution going on that occurred. take for example, the american revolution, the french revolution of the 1700's and 1800's, the revolutions in the 60's and so on. Those eras were all liberating eras

also, when there was a an alignment with saturn and pluto(square, opposition, or conjunction) there has been an intense collective 'patriotism'. Like in the 50's, 80's and 00's all had the same or similar Saturn and Pluto alignment. If you take a look at those era's specifically they were very very similar.

Im not saying everytime they happen the same shit happens over again, i just believe that maybe somehow the energy of the planets have a similar effect on earth collectively and individually.

Galileo was mystical in his time. Im not saying I believe in it, but I read it and think it's interesting. I certainly don't think it predicts the future. I just think it has a way of forecasting how events can unfold.

Things happen in the solar system in cycles, human history seems to happen in cycles - it's actually not that much of a coincidence that our cycles would *kinda* match up with some other natural cycle, the fact that it's this one is just a happy coincidence though, it doesn't imply the one causes the other. I mean, how could planetary alignment actually affect how likely it is for people to kick off? I don't see why Saturn an Pluto would send out magical reactionary rays whereas when Pluto teams up with Uranus they change into revolutionary ones... :confused:

forecasting a trend in society, isnt predicting the future. Predicting would be 'to the T' this is what's going to happen.

Forecasting simply shows you how times have been with these planets in alignment in the past. and it uses it as a forecast to see what the future MAY be like.

it never fully explains how the future will be like, just kind of like the groundwork of what might or might not happen.
