團結聲援突尼斯群眾鬥爭！

香港示威者遊行到突尼斯領事館抗議

上週五下午（1月21日），一支非常國際化的香港社運分子隊伍出現在港島香港西區警署外。他們在此表達突尼 斯工人和被壓迫人民的鬥爭的聲援，支持突尼斯人民反對剛下臺的本阿裡總統的專制政權。

「權力屬於工人！打倒所有獨裁者！」示威者高呼口號。這一抗議是由香港社會主義行動—工國委（CWI）和社 會民主連線立法會議員「長毛」梁國雄共同組織的，從西區警署遊行到突尼斯領事館，並遞交了一封聲明信，支持 突尼斯群眾起義反對突尼斯執政黨憲政民主聯盟（RCD）。

「我 們強烈譴責當局和員警力量的野蠻鎮壓，這導致了超過100名平民的傷亡。」，由梁國雄和社會主義行動的文森 特-科洛聯合簽署的抗議信表達了這一觀點。該信 同時反對目前由舊政權和親資本主義反對黨正在嘗試達成的交易，並呼籲突尼斯的工人和青年組建民主委員會，為 爭取建立革命的制憲議會和公眾控制全國經濟而鬥 爭，以徹底打破舊的統治秩序。

突尼斯事件對於中國和香港的群眾在面對自己所面臨的專制統治也意味著大量的經驗。並不是只有阿拉伯獨裁者在 看到突尼斯的消息時感到恐懼的。

What's missing in the CWI analyses of the Tunisian uprising so far is any mention of the danger reactionary Islamists represent. Islamists could potentially hijack the revolution just like they hijacked the Iranian Revolution decades ago.

Yet the CWI only talk about the potential risk of "middle-class democratic nationalists" de-railing the revolution in Tunisia, but not a word about the risk represented by Islamists. Actually the Islamic Republic of Iran is already actively aiding certain Islamic forces in the country.

Maybe you need to actually look at what the Tunisian people are saying on Facebook: "Islamist groups are the same as Ben Ali, Hell to all of them".(http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000721544116#!/permalink.php?story_fbid=120401501364621&id=103917523016709) Why is it that some self-proclaimed socialists in the West always shy away from a radical critique of reactionary religious forces? (As far as the critique of religion is concerned, the French left is far superior to the British left)

You are not as bad as some of the Maoists in China though, who actually think that Islamic Iran is a "progressive state" and explicitly put the Islamists in the Tunisian uprising into the same "progressive category" as the socialists!
