One day i thought i might take a chance. So i went out to my local bookstore and bought Notes from the underground. I heard it was kinda just like this insane rant, by this insane guy. But hell, I like rants and i like insane people so i have begun to read it. If anyone has read this book i would like to know your opinions, as by the time you post i will probobly be done with the book.

Wow. Just over 6 years to the day and you finally get a reply! Then again im not suprised, it doesnt exactly embrace ideals about socialist utopianism!
Science, evolutionary theory, progress, politics, technology etc can progessively take us further and further down the road of discovery and answer questions about our place in the world and universe, can liberate or enslave us both physically and mentally, but these things cannot answer deeper questions about the very essence of our existence.
Even in Utopia this kind of angst would be rife. Alienation, i believe, would still exist. Maybe even moreso.
Notes from the Underground blew me away.
