Hmm... Daltry has a trout farm; that I did not know. Here's some more good trivia: Jimmy Page, having left The Yardbirds, was starting a band which was going to be called 'The New Yardbirds' until Keith Moon, the drummer with The Who, said "That'll go down like a lead zeppelin!" The rest is rock 'n' roll history. (I love saying that).

So, Tommy, yeah? Am I right in thinking that Tommy being deaf and blind is representative of how we can't know the nature of the universe through our senses and the only thing that interests us is ourselves ('Go To The Mirror') but when we stop looking at ourselves ('Smash The Mirror'), we can see things as they are?
But someone told me that Tommy is only deaf and blind as a reaction to whatever it is he sees in '1921' (I reckon Tommy's father kills Tommy's mother's lover). That would complicate things. Also 'The Hawker (Eyesight To The Blind)' - that confuses me. Any thoughts?

Quadrophenia is still one of my favorite albums of all time. It sounds as good today as when it came out.

Bell Boy
The Real Me (Entwistle's bass playing on this one is still one of the best examples of rock bass playing ever)
Love Reign O'er Me

Entwistle's bass playing on this one is still one of the best examples of rock bass playing everYeah, that was the major bummer about the concert I saw, it was like two days after Entwistle died. I mean, the new dude was good, but I love playing bass and Entwistle is one of my "bass idols." I was looking forward to seeing him.
