What job are you looking at? There's a broad range of jobs that you can use your linguistics skills for that will also keep you far from rpg fragments.:)

It depends where you live. Sometimes there isn't. I didn't join the army to shoot people. I still think it was a horrible experience but at least I never went hungry.
