A truly great cartoon world. It reminds me a little of Miyazaki movies.

Pretty stark contrast from it to the loads of sugar fueled shite that is offered kids today.

I remember they used to broadcast a puppet or maybe it was a claymation version of the moomins. I remember as a kid it felt tedious to watch compared to you know robots with guns, but then when I reflect on it it was really an excellently produced show. Despite being the target audience, I was probably too immature for it. I don't think it lasted very long, though, sadly, as it was a rebroadcast and they had limited episodes.
