Sadly, it has a somewhat capitalist bias.

One example which pro-capitalists like to point out is the Hans Rosling lecture. Otherwise, I greatly enjoyed that Dutch artist and his automatic animals.

There are some particularly good lectures by Nick Bostrom, Steven Pinker, and Sam Harris. I also recommend Dr. Alan Russel's lecture on regenerative medicine.

I've seen a lot of 'pseudo intellectual' stuff on that site. But there are also some interesting and entertaining things, like the automatic 'animals' that Dimentio mentioned.
