This was apparently published in Washington DC by the Civic Education Service for the CES Regional Studies Series. It is also stamped inside "Property of Congregation of Sinai" with a copyright date of 1967.

Interesting on the map that they don't identify Palestine and label it as part of Jordan. Also, if you can't read it because it's out of focus, on the bottom of the page with a map it says "TINY ISRAEL IS HEMMED IN by 5 hostile Arab countries."

I think it was at a college library rummage sale? Hah I don't know I've had it for years I thought it was fascinating.

I have quite a collection of really weird books like this.
