the USSR will rise again? It may be a little different, but could it happen within 50 years?

Not in 50 years, in my opinion. The Soviet Union has been portrayed as an essence of authoritarianism (Which it actually was), because of Anti-Leninist leaders such as Stalin. The USSR was actually a good idea in my opinion, except Stalin screwed up everything, and he used his power for his own needs, not for social change. And currently, the misconception is that the USSR was actually based off of Stalin's ideologies, so people aren't going to want it, because of that misconception.

But that's my opinion

Why on Earth would you have that kind of Idea?

No, the 'USSR' will not "rise again" and start an Epic (video game) battle between the forces of good and evil..

Sorry but I hate when people have those kind of predictions.

History repeats itself... but not as exact as you think.

Which decade(s) of the USSR are we talking about?

Yes, but let us be fair, there are still many socialists and revolutionaries in Russia today. At least according to Russia today and their media of political activist.

Sorry, let me rephrase this:

Could Russia turn to Socialism or Communism in the future?

If you're setting your hopes and expectations high, wouldn't you rather aim for communism rather than some authoritative state?

As for a real answer, no. Maybe a bloc of socialist states will prop up, but in eastern Europe? I doubt it. In some former Eastern Bloc countries and southern Asia countries, people have voiced a desire for a return of "the old days" but I don't see it happening anytime soon. But 50 years is a long time, so anything is possible.

Might Russia return to Socialism, or Communism?

I think China is key seeing they have a more advanced industrial system and are integral to the global economy.

hopefully not... Even Stalinists i hope can be better(?) and see whats went wrong to try to improve it, cause fuck USSR was far from been good.If its gonna be succeed it dont needs to be a little bit different, it has a lot things to change comparing with USSR.If its coming the next 50 years?Who can know?50 years is fuck a lot of time and a yes or no answer to that can not be backed up at all, its just a complete speculation.

Socialism will revisit those regions if socialism takes hold in the west.

will it be the USSR? no.

hoping for a rebirth of the soviet union is asinine though because the conditions for the soviet union and its development are radically different from the current conditions of the FSU.

Revolution in Imperialist countries is much more vital to world revolution than it is in the colonial countries. Unfortunately revolution is also a lot harder in Imperialist countries, so our class is just going to have to try harder.

revolution anywhere is important.

A Revolution in an Imperialist country would be much more capable of defending itself from the world market than one in a colonial country would, but even from there the revolution must be international and worldwide if it is to survive.

If you're talking about the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, I have some bad news for you.

Lol. Keep dreaming. However, im interested to know, when China becomes a superpower with the old personality cult there is with Mao and the communist symbolism that there would become more actual Communists in China, and that would be great if it was the biggest superpower on earth.

Well tbh they're not enough to make a considerable difference, as it is here in the United States or anywhere else. The CPRF, being the largest and most organized, is more of a nationalist outfit with authoritarian underpinnings than advocating things nearing socialism. You got some other genuine groups like the RCWP-RPC or the AUCPB but they can't affect much on the whole country.

And I would take what RT says domestically about Russia very carefully.
