Sweet. The only peeves I have about Elder Scrolls is that their computer spec requirements are pretty steep, or at least the 3rd and oblivion were at the times they came out. Also, I didn't like the difficulty settings for oblivion.

I liked Oblivion and did the vampire quest for fun. When are you getting that pc built?

Once I have the cashbux for it, and who knows when that'll be. Out of necessity I'll be ordering the new Hard Drive soon. I don't know if I told you but I've been running my comptuer off a Linux LiveCD for a few weeks now because the old drive died.

I'm tempted to borrow some money from my friend for it, since he just came into a pretty crazy amount of money. But I will never pay him back if I do. :mellow:

They are a bad company. Morrowind was their last good game. FO3 was okay, but nowhere close to what I would consider good.

Fallout 3 was really bad I though, and I'm not saying that as some rabid fanboy of the original Fallout games (I didn't play them until just recently actually).

The shooting was terrible and there was 0 reason to not just VATS it up. Going around in the night time or in a dark building or whatever lost all of its atmosphere and tension because I just walked tapping a shoulder button to zero in on whatever underpowered thing lurked in the shadows. And playing without VATS really wasn't an option because, like I said, the shooting was bad on its own.

New vegas had a better shooter feel.

i was playing hardcore and things still felt a bit underpowered.

A friend of mine told me New Vegas wasn't good but was way better just because of the writing.

New Vegas was a lot better, but yeah, FO3 and NV were awful from the shooter aspect. I think the engine used for all three games was just awful. I'm hoping Bethesda gets a clue and fixes it, but I feel like they won't since Oblivion and FO3 still sold well.
