I am conflicted between what schedule to go with this semester. I have two schedules lined up right now.
Schedule A:
Two American History classes, 8-8:45 and 10-10:45, followed by Latin American history at 1:00. This is every monday, wednesday, and friday.
Schedule B:
One American History class (10-10:45 probably), followed by Latin American History at 1:00-1:45, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, BUT with a South Asian history from 4:00 to 6:45 on Wednesday.
On one hand I would prefer a schedule with less downtime between classes, and provide for maximum availability for work outside of school.
On the other, I know and like the professor for South Asian history, I am very interested in the subject, and I'm not crazy about two American History classes (Though the courses are still hella interesting for American history).
chu think Revleft?

I'd go for the South Asian History class. Only because American history classes tend to bore me to tears. One can only hear about how badass (aka how big of a douche) Andrew Jackson was before one will cry at the sight of 20 for mereing conjuring the thought of hearing another professor drone on about him.

Schedule B, unless you're a morning person in which case I hate you.

That is another thing. I am not a morning person.
Also the second history class starts off talking about Andrew Jackson!

Schedule B.
Or, option C, join a aid charity in the Congo, go into the deepest parts of the jungle, manipulate the locals and build your own mini-kingdom, go insane and die on a boat on your way back to the coast.

This is a great idea.
Whats the difference between the two American History classes?
One is "Foundations of America", talking about colonization and all that, and the other is "United States as a Developing Country" talking about the 19th century starting from Andrew Jackson.

I would take A since I'm a history student that has a strong interest in South Asian history.

I would keep as much open availability for work as possible.

This is a great idea.Definitely. The cost is $75. You can pick up a book on Amazon which basically tells you what's gonna be on the test for a few dollars more. But the tests aren't difficult anyway. Get as many credits as you can that way. There are CLEP tests for a number of different subjects. I think you can test out of something like 30 credits. Unless you're in school on grants / parents money and just trying to have a good time as long as you can.

I would definitely do B since 1. south asian history sounds really really cool 2. 8am to 1pm is not nice...who wants to go in at 8am. I thought the point of being a student was to avoid having to be anywhere at 8am.
