It's nice to see that RussiaToday has the integrity to call out these people on their bullshit. While NBC and CNN would try to beat around the bush on the issue.

It's pretty typical. I've been pointing people to Colorlines for the MLK stuff: http://colorlines.com/mlk-day/

well...its a message that aguments ad ignorantium. And hopes, and regrettably probably will, to score with some people who do not know that much about MLK.
Its a strategy designed to win as much support as possible by using every kind of argument imaginable. And that works. As long as different people make the different arguments.
Dispicable...but often effective...

Funny how the government quickly co-opts him after spending so much time spying and destroying him.
Dr. King would have viewed Iraq and Afghanistan the same way he felt about Vietnam. Don't they have PR guys to make sure they don't say stupid things like this?
But since they also brought up Mr. Beck, it reminds me of something I saw earlier regarding Beck's "rally":

It's sad to see one of America's greatest champions of freedom being used like that.

I'm not surprised. Anything can be corrupted.

It's just like when right-wingers use George Orwell as evidence for their anti-communist beliefs.
